This is the official website of Oshihara Children's Preschool in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, which offers childcare services based on the educational policy of "fostering independence and social skills through play. The preschool has approximately 100 children, and is equipped with a vast playground and indoor playground where children can freely engage in activities.
A distinctive feature of our childcare is "project-based play," in which children decide on their own themes and conduct research and practice activities on a regular basis. For example, in the "Exploring the World of Insects" project, children observe insects in the school yard and are given opportunities to summarize and present their knowledge from illustrated books, thereby fostering a spirit of inquiry.
For children with special needs, we have a system in place to create "Individualized Childcare Plans" and provide guidance in cooperation with speech therapists and occupational therapists.
